Almost 40 combat engagements recorded in Ukraine’s east in past day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its evening update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that the Ukrainian aircraft launched 12 strikes on the Russian manpower clusters over the past day. Units of the Ukrainian missile forces and artillery, for their part, struck 11 Russian manpower clusters, one anti-aircraft missile system and three radio electronic warfare stations of the invaders.

In total, over the past day, the Russians carried out 37 airstrikes, as well as 32 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and populated areas.

In particular, at night, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with six Kh-22 air-based cruise missiles, four Kalibr sea-based missiles and ten Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 attack drones.

The General Staff stresses that the probability of further enemy missile attacks and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Vesele. Their air force struck Ivanivka, Donetsk region. Kyslivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, Yampolivka, Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Serebrianka in Donetsk region came under enemy artillery strikes.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive in the areas of Yahidne and Berkhivka. Airstrikes were recorded in the areas of Spirne, Rozdolivka, Levadne, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Bila Hora of Donetsk region. The settlements of Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Druzhba, Toretsk, Oleksandopil, Sukha Balka, New York, Troitske, and Pivdenne of Donetsk regions were subjected to enemy artillery fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Russians attempted to conduct offensive actions in the area of Avdiivka, but had no success. The enemy launched airstrikes on Avdiivka and Novobakhmutivka districts, as well as artillery strikes on Vesele, Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Umanske, Semenivka, Vodiane, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, Novokalynove, and Nevelske districts of Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks on Marinka. At the same time, the invaders shelled Krasnohorivka, Bahatyr, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Netailove, Marinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka districts of Donetsk region with artillery.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of June 14, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed three enemy Kalibr missiles and nine Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
