On October 29, a series of intense clashes and developments unfolded in the ongoing conflict, with the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully defending against multiple enemy assaults, launching assertive actions, and carrying out strategic attacks, including a significant strike on Russian air defense in occupied Crimea.

Simultaneously, the Ukrainian Defense Forces persist in their assertive actions in the Melitopol region, advancing with determination and launching offensive operations in the Bakhmut sector. These operations are taking a toll on the occupiers in terms of personnel and equipment, depleting the adversary’s strength across the entire front line.
Over the course of the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 16 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment. Missile troops destroyed a command and control center and six enemy artillery pieces.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have confirmed that they successfully attacked the strategic target of Russian air defense in the west of occupied Crimea at night.
The Russian media said the missile attack occurred at 3:00 near the village of Olenivka. The deployment site of a missile and an anti-aircraft regiment of the Russian Defense Ministry have been attacked. Their sources reported that 17 soldiers were wounded in the attack, and five vehicles were damaged. One of the vehicles is beyond repair.
