Explosions were heard in Lviv on Tuesday, March 24, during an air raid alert as Russian strike drones targeted the region. Authorities reported a hit in the central part of the city.

Lviv Regional Military Administration head Maksym Kozytskyi said the enemy was continuing to attack Lviv Oblast and confirmed a strike in central Lviv. According to his preliminary information, UNESCO heritage may have been affected, while the threat remained high and residents were urged to stay in shelters.

Earlier, at 4:19 p.m., Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi warned that a Russian drone was moving toward the city. He said air defense forces were operating against the target.

The full consequences of the attack are still being clarified. Residents of Lviv and the surrounding region are being asked to follow official updates and remain in safe places until the all-clear is announced.
